As the entry-level Orion set, the M3110 offers a simpler specification than the M3310, fewer feature keys and no graphic display, suited to standard extension users with modest feature requirements rather than console, reception or heavy-line-load positions. It shares the same Meridian Option telephone system compatibility as the rest of the Orion range and is not suitable as a standalone or home phone.
