The IBM 21P5456 is a RIO-2 remote I/O copper cable, 10 metres long, carrying both the AS/400 feature code 1483 and the RS/6000 feature code 3148 on the same physical part. It uses the RIO-G/HSL-2 interconnect standard, linking a system’s central processor complex to its remote I/O expansion drawers or towers. It is a cable assembly, not a logic card, and is also known under part number 39J2561.
