The ADVA F150/CM/NTU/GIG-1EO/ is a network termination unit (NTU) for the ADVA FSP150 access platform, supporting Ethernet at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s with one optical/electrical (O/E) client port and two optical network ports. It is the customer-facing access unit that terminates the fibre service and hands off Ethernet to the end-user’s own equipment, while the two optical network ports connect it back into the FSP150 access ring or point-to-point link.

The “1EO” client port designation means the unit supports either an optical or an electrical Gigabit interface on the client side depending on which SFP or copper module is fitted, giving it flexibility for both fibre and copper customer handoffs on the same base unit.
