The ADVA 0063204963 is a CWDM channel module built for multirate 10G client traffic, taking a pluggable local (client-side) optical interface, for ADVA’s FSP CWDM transport platform. This is the CWDM counterpart to the DWDM version of the same card design, ADVA 0063206903 also in our stock; both accept several 10 Gbit/s-class client protocols on the same card, selected by firmware.

The pluggable local interface is the client-facing optics slot on the card, fitted with a transceiver matched to the client protocol and reach in use; the card’s line side maps that client signal onto one of the wider-spaced CWDM ITU grid wavelengths for transport rather than the tighter DWDM grid.
