The Allied Telesis AT-210T is a CentreCom twisted-pair transceiver conforming to 10BASE-T, a legacy AUI-based media access unit (MAU) with four status LEDs covering link, SQE test, polarity and power. It converts an older AUI-only Ethernet port to a standard RJ45 10BASE-T connection, and the LED set gave engineers a quick diagnostic read on the link without needing separate test equipment.
