Marconi/Nokia T30426.20 came through with the part number alone. It is genuine Nokia Synfonet material, catalogued with our optical transmission stock, and beyond that we are not in a position to tell you what the unit does. Suffixes in the twenties within a Synfonet base number usually denote a later build or a different fitment rather than a different function, but without a documented base description that observation does not get us anywhere useful.

The Synfonet range covers SDH add and drop multiplexing and small cross connection at STM-1, STM-4 and STM-16, and it survives today mostly on private networks in transport, utility and public sector use.
