Marconi/Nokia T30404.10 came to us as a bare part number. It is Nokia Synfonet stock, held with our optical transmission items, but the unit type behind the code is not something we have been able to confirm from published sources. Guessing would be easy and unhelpful. The Synfonet range covers SDH add and drop multiplexing and small cross connection at STM-1, STM-4 and STM-16, and it survives today mostly on private networks in transport, utility and public sector use. The suffix after the decimal point identifies the build variant and is not always interchangeable within one base number.
