The Ericsson ROF1376304/1 is an MGU (Media Gateway Unit) board providing 2×4 E1/T1 digital trunk interfaces for the Ericsson MX-ONE telephony platform. It connects E1 (2.048 Mbit/s) and T1 (1.544 Mbit/s) ISDN primary rate trunks to the MX-ONE media gateway, providing the digital trunk capacity for enterprise voice traffic to the PSTN. The board is installed in an MX-ONE magazine, where it terminates the external digital trunks and passes traffic to the gateway for conversion between TDM and the IP core. The ROF1376304/1 is a legacy component from the Ericsson and Aastra MX-ONE range, now under Mitel, and shares the MGU family with the ROF1376304/4 variant.
