The Siemens S30810-Q2915-X-13 is a TMS2 (Trunk Module S2M) digital trunk board for Siemens HiPath and HiCom communication systems. It provides a single S2M primary rate interface, carrying up to 30 B-channels (voice channels) over a symmetrical twisted-pair line via an NT, for connection to the public ISDN or for S2M networking between PBX systems. The TMS2 is used in the larger HiPath 3000 platforms, notably the HiPath 3700 and 3750 (HiPath 3800), where high-capacity digital trunking is required rather than individual analogue lines. As a legacy Siemens board now part of the Unify portfolio, the TMS2 remains in demand for maintaining and expanding installed HiPath systems that still rely on S2M/E1 ISDN connectivity.
