The Aastra MOV958.EXP.FOP-1 is a Fan Out Panel, a passive connection panel for the Aastra 470 (Mitel MiVoice Office 470) communication server. It breaks out the high-density connectors on the system’s interface cards, converting ten four-fold RJ45 sockets into forty individual RJ45 outlets (IN10, OUT40) for termination onto structured cabling. The panel is used alongside high-port-density cards such as the 32DSI digital and 16FXS or 32FXS analogue interface modules, giving each port its own standard socket. It occupies a single rack unit (approximately 481 x 44 x 69 mm) and mounts directly above or below the communication server. The FOP carries no active electronics and requires no power supply, though it must be connected to protective earth where analogue trunk (FXO) lines are routed through it. This is a legacy Aastra product, now part of the Mitel portfolio, and remains in service across existing Aastra 470 installations. Available from Tech Star as new or refurbished stock.
