Ericsson ROF1375390/1 Transmission Optical Transmission Module

The Ericsson ROF1375390/1 is a GSU (Group Switch Unit) board for the Ericsson MD110 private branch exchange. The GSU provides the group switch function at the heart of the MD110, transmitting PCM voice, data and control signals between the system’s Line Interface Modules (LIMs). The group switch holds no control logic of its own; it is fully controlled by the connected LIMs, which direct traffic across the switch fabric. As a plug-in board within an MD110 LIM, the ROF1375390/1 is used to sustain, expand or repair established MD110 and later MX-ONE telephony estates where the original switching hardware must be kept in service.
