The Aruba IAP-105 is a compact dual-radio wireless access point delivering up to 300 Mbps throughput. Operating as an Instant Access Point, it provides controller-less Wi-Fi deployment with integrated virtual controller functionality, eliminating the need for separate hardware controllers in smaller installations.

The IAP-105 is part of Aruba’s Instant series, designed for small to medium enterprise environments requiring straightforward wireless coverage. It supports 802.11n on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, with Power over Ethernet capability simplifying installation by delivering both data and power over a single cable.

This model is a legacy product, having been superseded by newer 802.11ac and 802.11ax access points. However, it remains a cost-effective solution for basic wireless connectivity requirements or for maintaining consistency in existing Aruba Instant deployments.
