0800-0606-001 Lucent Network Module

The Lucent 0800-0606-001 is an ATM-3-Q multimode ATM interface module equipped with 4MB of onboard memory. This module provides ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) connectivity using multimode fibre optic interfaces, enabling high-speed data transmission across telecommunications infrastructure.

ATM modules of this type were deployed in Lucent switching and routing platforms to deliver cell-based networking services. The multimode fibre capability made this module suitable for short to medium distance connections within data centres and campus environments where ATM-based services were required.

This is a legacy product from an era when ATM was the dominant technology for high-speed networking and telecommunications backhaul.
