Alcatel 3BA23171ABBE 02 NDDI2-2 analogue (non-DDI) trunk board, up to 8 LS/GS PSTN accesses, for OmniPCX Enterprise/4400.

The Alcatel 3BA23171ABBE 02 is an NDDI2-2 (Non Direct Dialling In) analogue trunk board for the Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise and OmniPCX 4400 communication systems. It provides up to eight 2-wire analogue trunk accesses to the public switched telephone network, with Loop Start and Ground Start (LS/GS) signalling for inbound and outbound calls. Lines 1 to 4 are processed on the main board and lines 5 to 8 on the QATI daughterboard, and each analogue interface passes through the board’s subscriber-line audio circuits and DSP before reaching the system switching fabric. As a non-DDI board it terminates standard analogue exchange lines rather than direct-dialling-in trunks.

The NDDI2-2 is a legacy OmniPCX analogue trunk interface, still deployed to keep analogue PSTN connectivity on existing OmniPCX systems. Refurbished units are supplied for maintenance, expansion or spares, and carry a warranty.
