The Nortel NTDK25BB is a Fibre Receiver pack for the Meridian 1 Option 11C system. It terminates the incoming fibre-optic link that connects a main NTAK11 cabinet or NTDK91 chassis to an expansion NTAK11 cabinet or NTDK92 chassis expander, converting the received optical signal back to electrical form so the expansion equipment operates as part of the same system. The NTDK25BB carries the receive direction of the fibre span, which can run from 10 m up to 3 km over multi-mode glass fibre, and it provides face-plate DIP switches for configuration. It is used purely for Option 11C cabinet-to-expansion connectivity, not for carrier backbone transport. The NTDK25BB is a legacy Option 11C component still required for maintaining and expanding installed systems. We supply it refurbished and tested.
