The telecoms equipment categories listed on this page organise the Tech-Star catalogue by functional area. Each category groups together the part numbers we stock that share a common function in a telecoms or network environment, from radio units and base station modules through to optical transmission modules, routing line cards, IP telephony hardware, PBX modules, power supplies and the supporting accessories.

Category pages are useful when the part number is unknown but the functional requirement is clear. A buyer replacing a faulty optical transceiver in an Ericsson MINI-LINK chassis, for example, can browse the Optical Transmission Module category to identify candidate parts compatible with that platform, then submit an enquiry for the units that match.

Each of these telecoms equipment categories holds a mixture of new, refurbished and used stock from multiple manufacturers, with platform compatibility recorded against the part where known. Stock and pricing are quote-driven and change frequently. Radio access and base station hardware

The Radio Unit (RRU) and Base Station Module categories cover the active radio-frequency components used in mobile network sites. Stock includes Ericsson Radio 4000-series RRUs, Huawei RRU and AAU units, Nokia AirScale modules and earlier Flexi equipment. The Base Station Module category groups baseband units, system modules and related cards used inside cabinets, including BBU3900, BBU5900 and equivalent Ericsson and Nokia platforms. Optical transmission and transport

Optical Transmission Module and Telecom System Card categories cover the components used in long-haul, regional and metro optical transport networks. Power supplies, cables and other accessories

Power Supply, Cable and Telecom Module categories collect the supporting hardware needed to keep a deployed system in service. This includes -48V DC power feeds for telecoms cabinets, AC power supplies for enterprise switches, power and signal cables for Ericsson MDF systems, and a range of one-off telecoms modules that do not fit cleanly into the primary categories.
