Huawei 020TKH SSN2PEX1 cross-connect expansion board for OptiX OSN series.

The Huawei 020TKH is an SSN2PEX1 cross-connect expansion board designed for use within Huawei’s OptiX OSN optical transmission platforms. This board extends the cross-connect capacity of the system, enabling greater flexibility in traffic switching and routing across the network.

The SSN2PEX1 is deployed in OptiX OSN 1500/2500/3500 series equipment, supporting SDH/SONET-based transport networks. It provides additional matrix capacity for high-density deployments where baseline cross-connect resources require augmentation.

This is a legacy component supporting Huawei’s established SDH optical transmission infrastructure. While newer packet-optical platforms have superseded these systems in many deployments, the OSN series remains operational in numerous carrier and enterprise networks worldwide.
