The Nokia C109633 is an MCP18 card, a processor and computer cartridge for the Nokia DX200 platform. The DX200 is a fault-tolerant, modular switching and server system used across mobile and fixed core-network elements such as the MSC, HLR and BSC, and the MCP18 provides the control and computing functions for those elements. It is a plug-in computer cartridge, not a base-station radio or an optical-transport card, and installs in a DX200 cartridge shelf alongside the other computer and interface units. The C109633 is the base MCP18 build; a later MCP18-B variant (part number C110547) carries an updated management computer.
