The Nokia 473246A.101 is an FSEP (Flexi System External Overvoltage Protection) unit for the Nokia Flexi and AirScale base station platforms. It sits on the DC power feed between the site power system and the base-station system module, protecting the equipment against surges, lightning transients and overvoltage events. The FSEP provides external overvoltage protection with the connectors and mounting needed for cabinet or pole installation, safeguarding sensitive baseband and radio hardware at the cell site. It is a standard protection accessory in Flexi Multiradio and AirScale deployments. This is the .101 hardware revision.
