The Nokia 473842A.101 is an FOUC optical SFP+ transceiver used for mobile fronthaul in Nokia Flexi and AirScale base stations. It operates at 850nm over multimode fibre, supporting data rates up to 9.8 Gbps (10G) with a reach of around 300 metres on OM3 fibre. The module carries CPRI traffic between the baseband unit and remote radio heads, plugging into the SFP+ cage of a Flexi System Module or AirScale baseband card. Rated for the industrial temperature range, it provides short-reach optical interconnect within the radio access network. This is the .101 hardware revision.
