The Nokia 3DB20429CB is an MPT-HC series microwave outdoor unit (ODU) for the Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent) 9500 MPR microwave packet radio system. It is the high-capacity, high-modulation (HQAM) transceiver that mounts at the antenna and carries the licensed-band microwave hop, transmitting and receiving the aggregated traffic between two 9500 MPR sites. The 9500 MPR provides packet-based microwave backhaul that transports Ethernet and legacy TDM traffic across point-to-point links, and the MPT-HC ODU pairs with an indoor MSS shelf or an all-outdoor configuration to form a complete radio link.
