This entry-level IP phone features a compact design with a 3-line LCD display, six programmable keys, and full-duplex speakerphone capability, making it suitable for basic desk phone requirements in SIP-based telephony environments.

The 6731i is designed for deployment with Aastra and Mitel SIP-compatible call platforms, including MiVoice Business and third-party SIP servers. It supports standard SIP protocols and can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is the intended power method when supplied without an AC adapter.

The Aastra 6731i is a legacy product following Mitel’s acquisition of Aastra in 2014. While superseded by newer 6800i series handsets, the 6731i remains in use across many existing deployments where compatibility and cost-effectiveness are priorities.
