The Ericsson KRY1011856/1 is a CXU-10 Configuration Switch Unit, a subrack card used within Ericsson RBS 2000-series GSM radio base stations (documented for the RBS 2106, RBS 2206 and RBS 2308 platforms). The CXU distributes the received (Rx) signal paths from the Combining and Distribution Unit (CDU) to the digital Transceiver Units (dTRUs) within the same cabinet, and supports both GMSK and 8-PSK (EDGE) modulation.

The unit carries six configurable switches that let engineers set which CDU connects to which dTRU receive input, giving flexibility to reconfigure receive-path routing as a site transceiver and combining configuration changes, without needing to re-cable the RF distribution inside the cabinet. This makes the CXU-10 a key interconnect and configuration point within the RBS 2000-series RF subrack.
