The Nokia Siemens 702-300/12D is an indoor unit (IDU) from the Flexi Metro range of Nokia point-to-point microwave transport radios, used to carry traffic between a network site and the outdoor radio unit mounted at the antenna. Flexi Metro is part of Nokia’s microwave transport portfolio, providing indoor termination, interface and management functions for PDH/Ethernet-based microwave links deployed in mobile backhaul and private network applications. As with other Nokia microwave IDU hardware, the unit provides the interface between site transmission equipment (such as E1 or Ethernet tributaries) and the radio link itself.
