The Ericsson KRC16184/6R7G is an RRU-M9 EDGE radio unit for the 900 MHz GSM band, product number KRC 161 84/6 at revision R7G. It is the radio unit of the Ericsson RBS 2308, a four-TRX micro base station from the RBS 2000 family, and each RBS 2308 contains a single RRU-M EDGE.

The unit holds the transceivers and the antenna connections for the site, and supports GPRS, EGPRS (EDGE) and HSCSD data alongside GSM voice. An optional fan unit can be fitted on top for extra cooling. It works with the MBU mounting base, which provides the power entry and surge protection, and the IXU interface unit, which carries the transmission ports, external alarms and the OMT management connection.
