Ericsson SEB1121133/3R4B: MBU-01 Mounting Base Unit with power entry and surge protection for the Ericsson RBS 2308 micro base station.

The Ericsson SEB1121133/3R4B is an MBU-01 Mounting Base Unit for the Ericsson RBS 2308, product number SEB 112 1133/3 at revision R4B. The MBU is the mechanical mounting interface of the RBS 2308 micro base station, and the base station fixes to its wall, pole or mast through this unit.

The MBU also holds the interface for the main power supply. Incoming lines pass through it, and it provides surge and transient protection for them before they reach the radio. The circuit breakers for primary power and the switch for RRU power are located on the MBU.

The RBS 2308 is a four-TRX GSM base station from Ericsson’s RBS 2000 family, supporting GPRS, EDGE and HSCSD data. It is built for indoor or outdoor use and runs from AC mains or -48 V DC, with the MBU as the power entry in both cases.
