The Juniper JXU-1SFP-S is a one-port SFP Universal Physical Interface Module (UPIM) for Juniper J-series services routers. It adds a single Gigabit Ethernet SFP port that takes 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps SFP transceivers, so the router can connect over fibre or a copper SFP without a separate media converter. It is compatible with the J2320, J2350, J4350 and J6350. The SFP transceiver is a separate part and is chosen to match the link, for example multimode fibre for a short building link or single-mode fibre for a longer run.
