Physical NuPoint (NuPoint Messenger/NuPoint Unified Messaging) is a server-based voicemail and unified-messaging platform, running on a rack-mount PC server rather than the dedicated ISA-backplane chassis used by the earlier NuPoint Messenger Model 70 system. This drive adds RAID-style hard-disk redundancy to an already-installed server, so mailbox and configuration data survive a single drive failure without service interruption, and being supplied in-system means it arrives pre-fitted into the redundancy array rather than needing separate configuration.
