Nortel NTEU60AA: OPTera Metro 4200 TN-4XE multiplexer subrack chassis.

The Nortel NTEU60AA is an OPTera Metro 4200 TN-4XE subrack, the multiplexer chassis for Nortel’s OPTera Metro 4200 optical transport platform. It provides the shelf, backplane and power distribution that TN-4XE-family interface and processor cards install into, forming a complete metro-area SDH/SONET add-drop multiplexing node once populated. The OPTera Metro 4200 was deployed as a compact metro-transport platform for carrier and enterprise fibre networks, and the TN-4XE subrack is the base unit required before any of its interface cards can be fitted. Confirm the specific card complement and site power requirements before ordering, since the subrack ships as an empty chassis. OPTera Metro 4200 nodes remain in service in a number of established metro fibre networks. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) stocks Nortel spares to support ongoing network maintenance and expansion projects. Contact our sales team for current availability.
