The Aastra A6725-0131-20-55 is the 6725ip, a Microsoft Lync-optimised IP telephone designed for unified communications environments. This model ships without a power supply, requiring either a separate AC adapter or Power over Ethernet for operation.

The 6725ip was developed specifically for Microsoft Lync (later Skype for Business) deployments, providing native integration with presence, instant messaging, and enterprise voice features. It features a large colour touchscreen display for intuitive call handling and access to Lync functions directly from the handset.

This is a legacy product following Aastra’s acquisition by Mitel. The 6725ip remains in use within organisations maintaining existing Lync or Skype for Business infrastructure, though it has been superseded by newer unified communications endpoints.
