The ADVA 0063300057 is an ADVA single-band optical add/drop filter card, a passive DWDM module from the ADVA FSP transport range. On the line side it multiplexes one specific ITU-grid wavelength channel onto the shared fibre and demultiplexes that same channel back out to a client port on the way in, while every other wavelength already on the fibre passes through the shelf unaffected.

Cards in this family are assigned in sequence, with each part number covering a different group of adjacent DWDM channels fixed at the factory, so the part number itself is the reliable way to identify which channels a specific card carries rather than any field configuration. They are used in FSP 2000 and FSP 3000 shelves to build out or repair an existing wavelength-division-multiplexed network, most often as a like-for-like replacement or an addition when a new channel is being lit on a span that is already in service.
