The Alcatel-Lucent ODU UX 9400 (3CC11737AHAB/01) is an outdoor unit (ODU) for the 9400 UX family of digital point-to-point microwave radio links, covering short-haul frequency bands from around 13 GHz up to 38 GHz. Mounted directly behind the antenna at the top of the tower or mast, the ODU houses the microwave transceiver electronics, converting the intermediate-frequency signal from the indoor unit into the RF carrier that is transmitted and received over the air.

The unit handles the modulation formats (4QAM/16QAM and higher) that the 9400 UX platform supports for capacities from 2×2 up to 16×2/34 Mbit/s.
