Alcatel-Lucent 3HE00867AA: Gigabit Ethernet Extended-Reach SFP, LC duplex, 1310nm, up to 40km reach, for the 7750 SR service router platform.

The Alcatel-Lucent 3HE00867AA is a Gigabit Ethernet Extended-Reach (EX) SFP optical transceiver for the 7750 SR service router platform, built around an LC duplex connector and a 1310nm laser rated for links of up to 40km over single-mode fibre. It plugs directly into the SFP cages fitted to 7750 SR line and uplink cards, giving the router a longer-reach GigE port than the standard SX/LX variants without needing an external optical amplifier. The 7750 SR family remains in active service across many carrier and service provider IP/MPLS networks, and genuine SFP optics such as this one are a routine requirement when extending a link, restoring redundancy after a failed port, or matching an existing fibre run’s loss budget. Buyers should confirm the exact 7750 SR chassis and card generation before ordering, since SFP compatibility is tied to the host line card. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) supplies Alcatel-Lucent 7750 SR optics to support ongoing service provider network maintenance and capacity projects.
