Alcatel-Lucent 3HE06791AA 7705 SAR-8 service aggregation router shelf for IP/MPLS mobile backhaul.

The Alcatel-Lucent 3HE06791AA is a 7705 SAR-8 service aggregation router shelf, part of Nokia’s (formerly Alcatel-Lucent) 7705 Service Aggregation Router portfolio. This eight-slot chassis is engineered for IP/MPLS transport and pseudowire services at cell sites and aggregation hubs, making it a core building block for mobile radio access network (RAN) backhaul. The SAR-8 concentrates traffic from multiple access technologies and adapts it onto a normalised IP/MPLS infrastructure, delivering the carrier-grade timing and synchronisation mobile networks require. The shelf houses the control, adapter and interface cards of the platform and operates from a -48/-60 VDC supply with +24 VDC support. Widely deployed by mobile operators, the 7705 SAR-8 remains in demand for maintaining and expanding installed RAN transport networks. Available from Tech Star as new or refurbished stock.
