The Alcatel 3FE28682AA is an FPBA-NELT-A line termination card for the Alcatel-Lucent 7330 ISAM FTTN, a flexible high-density access shelf supporting up to 10 slots for DSL, point-to-point fibre, splitter and voice line cards, serving up to 480 subscribers and extendable with up to twelve 24-port VDSL2 remote expansion modules. NELT-designated cards provide the network element line termination function for the shelf, complementing the NALT outdoor line cards used on FD remote nodes. The 7330 ISAM FTTN shares core technology with the Alcatel 7302 ISAM, described by Alcatel as the industry’s first IP-based access platform capable of delivering 100 percent triple-play services, and is used by operators to bring VDSL2-based broadband and IPTV over existing copper drops while leveraging fibre deeper into the access network.
