The APC AP9218 is a genuine APC MasterSwitch, a 1U rack-mount power distribution unit rated for 16A at 208/230V and fitted with eight IEC C13 outlets. As a MasterSwitch model, it supports individual outlet-level remote switching, letting an administrator power-cycle a hung server or piece of network equipment remotely rather than needing physical access to the rack.
