The Ciena 130-5142-900 is an OC-48 transceiver card for the Ciena Metro DWDM platform, fixed to the 193.7 THz ITU channel (the source label’s ‘Transiver’ is a spelling variant of transceiver, also seen on sibling part 130-5131-900 in the same 130-51xx-900 block). It converts a 2.5 Gbps OC-48 SONET client signal onto its assigned DWDM wavelength for transport across a Metro ring, and, like all channel cards in this range, is locked to its stated frequency rather than being tunable.
