NTK553HA Ciena Ciena Optical Transport Optical Transmission Module

The Ciena NTK553HA is a Wavelength Selective Switch (WSS) module designed for dynamic wavelength routing in optical transport networks. WSS technology enables flexible, software-controlled switching of individual wavelengths within DWDM systems, allowing network operators to remotely reconfigure optical paths without manual intervention at amplifier or ROADM sites.

This module is intended for deployment within Ciena’s optical networking platforms, typically as part of Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) node configurations.
