The Ciena NXMECL23-B01 is an internal interface/system card for the Ciena CN4200 metro optical transport platform (ONI Systems heritage). The CN4200 is a WDM-based chassis platform that accepts a range of interface, converter and management cards to configure each network element for its role in a metro optical network, combining wavelength-division multiplexing with integrated switching and services management. The card belongs to Ciena’s NXMEC-prefixed internal card family, alongside the NXMECALM alarm card and NXPSMAAA power module.
