Cisco ASA5520-K8 ASA 5500 series Adaptive Security Appliance Network Security Appliance

The Cisco ASA5520-K8 is a Cisco ASA 5500 series Adaptive Security Appliance. The ASA 5500 series is Cisco’s Adaptive Security Appliance range, combining firewall, VPN and optional intrusion prevention in one platform. Security appliances are replaced like for like: policies, licences and high-availability pairs are built around one hardware model, so a spare has to match the unit already in service. Several builds share the model name and are told apart by the suffix, which is why the full number is what identifies the unit. Match the full part number on the label, including any suffix, against the unit being replaced before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) supplies Cisco hardware for maintenance and spares holding. Submit the part number through the enquiry form for current pricing, condition and availability.
