The Eltek 242072.600 is a Flatpack MCU (Monitoring and Control Unit), the controller module used with Eltek’s Flatpack range of 48V DC rectifier power systems found throughout telecoms sites and cabinets. Rather than supplying power itself, the MCU sits alongside the Flatpack rectifier modules to control and monitor each unit individually, manage active current sharing when multiple rectifiers are paralleled for extra capacity, and provide battery surveillance to protect and extend battery lifetime. It gives site engineers local access via a front-panel keypad and graphic display, plus remote monitoring and control through WinPower Silver software, a WebPower browser interface or an SNMP agent connected to a network management system, with an RS232 serial port for local or modem connection.
