The Ericsson BFD599 031/2 is the AMM 2p, a two-slot magazine for the Ericsson Mini-Link Traffic Node. The AMM is the chassis a Mini-Link node is built from: it carries the backplane, the power feed and the slots the traffic and radio cards seat into, so the magazine chosen sets how much a site can grow before it needs replacing. The 2p is the smallest of the family, used where a site carries one or two links and space is tight, with the 6p and 20p magazines covering larger nodes.
