Ericsson ROF131708/2A RBS Base Station Module

The Ericsson ROF131708/2A is the REU (Ring generator Unit) for the Ericsson MD110 PBX. It is a DC/AC converter that generates the AC ringing signal used to ring connected telephones, and is typically fitted one per LIM (Line Interface Module) within the system. The REU takes the exchange’s central battery DC supply and converts it to the AC voltage required for ringing, feeding the line boards that serve the extensions. This is a legacy component from the MD110 family, a modular digital PBX widely deployed in enterprise and multi-site environments and later supported under the Aastra and Mitel MX-ONE portfolios.
