ROF1375098/7 Ericsson Ericsson MD110 PBX Expansion Card

The Ericsson ROF1375098/7 is a TLU 23 E&M trunk line unit designed for use in Ericsson MD110 and BusinessPhone PBX systems. This board provides E&M (Earth & Magneto) signalling interface capability, enabling connection to external trunk circuits and tie lines for voice communication between PBX systems or to carrier networks.

E&M trunk interfaces are commonly used in enterprise telephony environments where analogue tie-line connections are required between private branch exchanges or for connecting to legacy PSTN services. The TLU 23 module handles the signalling and audio path conversion necessary for these trunk connections.

This is a legacy product from the Ericsson MD110 platform, which has been discontinued following the acquisition of Ericsson’s enterprise division by Aastra and subsequently Mitel. However, many MD110 systems remain in active service, creating ongoing demand for replacement boards and spares.
