The Ericsson ROF1376302/1 is an LSU-E (Line Switch Unit – Extended), a system module designed for use within Ericsson AXE digital telephone exchange platforms. This unit serves as a critical component in the switching fabric, handling line-side connections and facilitating subscriber traffic routing within the exchange architecture.

The LSU-E is deployed within AXE10 and related exchange systems, providing subscriber line termination and switching capacity for fixed-line telecommunications networks. It forms part of the Group Switch Subsystem (GSS) or Subscriber Switch Subsystem (SSS), enabling the exchange to manage large volumes of simultaneous voice connections.

This is a legacy product from Ericsson’s traditional circuit-switched infrastructure era.
