The Ericsson ROJ1192315/1 is an ET-MFX multi-function Ethernet transport card used in Ericsson RBS radio base stations, including the RBS 3106, 3107, 3116, 3206, 3216 and 3308 series. The ET-MFX provides the Ethernet transport connection between the base band subrack and the CBU (Control and Baseband Unit), and in RNC-facing configurations supports optical Ethernet transport using SFP 1000BASE-ZX transceivers. Depending on its physical position in the BB subrack, the card connects via a 500mm or 800mm cable run back to the CBU, making correct slot placement important during installation or replacement.
