Ericsson ROJ20408/2 AXE-10 Telecom System Card / Module

The Ericsson ROJ20408/2 is a Regional Processor (RPG2 family) board used within Ericsson’s AXE-10 switching system. It shares its base part family with the ROJ20408/1 RPG2 module, a confirmed Regional Processor card used to handle regional control functions within the AXE Group Switch and processor subsystem. The Regional Processor family manages localised signalling and control tasks, offloading work from the exchange’s Central Processor to improve overall system responsiveness across the AXE architecture. This /2 variant is a revision within the same RPG2 product family, physically and functionally interchangeable in a like-for-like AXE-10 slot.
