The Fujitsu FC9686MSSR is an OC-48 (2.5Gbps) SFP transceiver module for the Fujitsu FLASHWAVE optical transmission platform. It operates over single-mode fibre at a 1310nm wavelength via an LC connector, supporting link distances of up to 2 kilometres, making it suited to short-reach optical interconnects within a site or between nearby facilities on a SONET/SDH network.
