The HP ProCurve Switch 2650 (J4899A) is a stackable, managed Layer 2 switch from the ProCurve 2600 series, providing 48 autosensing 10/100 RJ-45 ports plus two dual-personality ports that operate as either 10/100/1000BASE-T copper or mini-GBIC fibre for flexible Gigabit uplinks.

It supports up to 30 port-based VLANs with 802.1Q tagging and GVRP, 802.1p traffic prioritisation across 8 levels mapped to 4 queues for QoS, and security including 802.1X authentication and TACACS+. Management runs through a web GUI, CLI, SNMPv3, SSHv2 and SSL, with RMON monitoring and HP’s Find-Fix-Inform diagnostics, all in a 1U rack-mountable chassis with an integrated power supply.
