The HP JD877A is the HP V1905-8-PoE, a Layer 2 managed Fast Ethernet switch with 8 ports of 10/100Base-TX PoE plus 1 dual-personality 10/100/1000 port and a serial console port.

It was formerly sold as the 3Com OfficeConnect Managed Fast Ethernet PoE Switch (3CRDSF9PWR) and may still carry that labelling on some units. The switch is smart-managed with security and QoS features for a voice-ready small office network, and its PoE ports can power handsets, access points or cameras directly.
